SEALED TENDERS, clearly marked as to contents will be received by the City Clerk, Level 1, City Hall, 426 Brant Street, Burlington until 2 p.m.

Wednesday, August 1st, 2012

The scope of work involves the reconstruction of two (2) tennis courts and includes the removal of the existing tennis courts, fence posts and fabric, and the supply and placement of granular base, asphalt, tennis court colour system and new fence.

To qualify for this contract, the contractor or sub-contractor performing the tennis court work must have previously completed at least five (5) tennis court re-construction projects to the satisfaction of the owners.  The granular base work for the tennis courts is to be done by granular spreading equipment with a “laser controlled hydraulic grading system”.  The asphalt work for the tennis courts is to use either an automated screed control system consisting of dual sonic tracking system or an integrated scope sensor.
